Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toniz Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American sportscaster. She works as an ESPN anchor for news and also hosts SportsNation at times. Since 2016, Collins has was a part of ESPN. She is the child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been for a long time, starting at when she was nine years old. This skill helped her to get her first job at Univision, Miami. She could work with national producers on programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was then hired as a reporter by the CBS station as the sports reporter. In 2009 she moved from Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as an anchor for the newscast of the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In addition to reporting on issues related to the issue of immigration and drug trafficking from both sides of the border, she worked as an anchor for newscasts at 5 p.m. Spanish newscast a reporter and later anchor of the 9 p.m. newscast in English as well as a reporter again for at 10 p.m. Spanish newscast. Her duties as an anchor on sports and weather was often requested. Then she became the anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. The station then gave her more responsibility. She was a reporter for events like the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series, the Dallas Cowboys and the NBA Postseason and the Finals FC Dallas FC Dallas Stars. The Univision 23 channel also produced her local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra, on which she served as anchor. She was a host of sports for the morning program on Despierta America Deportes. It was the same role for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo for the UniMas Network. Antonietta Collin's parents originally hail from Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd the 22nd of November, 1985, in Mexico City. She has an elder sister. She has an older sister. In 1992, the couple divorced then shortly thereafter in 1995 she remarried Fabio Fajardo who was a naval engineer who passed away in the year 2006 after suffering from kidney cancer. The holiday in the summer that she lived with her younger sister in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured a job. Antonietta was a senior in high school who had a vision of how she wanted her future to look like, traveled to Mount Union University in order to find out if the school suited her. It turned out that she liked the campus, and the university had the program she desired. When she finished her high school education, she chose to attend the University with a major in Media Studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also the WRMU's 91.1FM station for which she worked for many years, became a friend. Mark's passion for journalism and her self-confidence instilled confidence in her. She in turn was determined to achieve his expectations and never disappoint him.
